As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, connecting with young people and helping you learn how to deal with and overcome depression, stress, and improve your relationships is my specialty. Many teenagers and young adults often seek out Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for help with the issues listed here. Academic pressures and family conflict, along with questions about your identity can amplify depression, anxiety, and stress. For these reasons and so many more, it is understandable that you can easily feel overwhelmed and confused about what you're going through and what direction to take. My aim is to help you better define who you are and what you want in your life so that together we can make sense of the issues you’re facing. I take a candid, direct approach, helping you learn fundamental coping strategies, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills to deal with life. My goal is not only for you to trust in me, but to ultimately trust and believe in yourself to make the decisions that are right for you in your life.
